Tikamgarh: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inspected the Takha Anganwadi Centre and Dr. Rajendra Prasad District Hospital during his visit to Tikamgarh district.
At the Anganwadi Centre, the Chief Minister reviewed facilities for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers and interacted with beneficiaries. At the district hospital, he inspected various healthcare facilities and distributed health kits to 19 malnourished children undergoing treatment at the Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre (NRC).
Ladli Behna Beneficiaries Welcome CM Mohan Yadav
During his visit to the Takha Anganwadi Centre, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav received a warm welcome from Ladli Laxmi daughters, Ladli Behna beneficiaries and women beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.
The women tied sacred Rakhis on the Chief Minister’s wrist. In a gesture of appreciation, Dr. Yadav presented saris, cosmetic kits and umbrellas to Ladli Behna beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister also interacted with children at the Anganwadi Centre and showered affection on them. He gave roses to the children and asked them about their names and the food being served at the centre.

CM Directs Officials to Ensure Nutritious Meals
During his interaction with the children, the Chief Minister asked whether they were receiving breakfast and meals at the Anganwadi Centre.
The children responded that they were being served breakfast and food and confirmed that they ate it.
Dr. Yadav directed the concerned officials to ensure that children receive nutritious and quality breakfast and meals at the Anganwadi Centre.
The Chief Minister also inspected the Anganwadi kitchen to review the arrangements for preparing food.

CM Performs Annaprashan Ceremony of Baby Vaishnavi
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed the Annaprashan ceremony of baby Vaishnavi at the Anganwadi Centre.
He fed the baby kheer with his own hands and blessed her for a bright future.
Dr. Yadav also directed officials to ensure a continuous supply of safe drinking water for children as well as pregnant and lactating mothers.
CM Meets Beneficiaries and Listens to Their Concerns
Dr. Yadav greeted local residents after reaching the Takha Anganwadi Centre and listened to their concerns.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backwards Classes and Minority Welfare and De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare and Tikamgarh district in-charge Minister Krishna Gaur, Chief Secretary Mr. Ashok Barnwal, public representatives and senior administrative officers were present during the visit.
CM Mohan Yadav Inspects Tikamgarh District Hospital
During his Tikamgarh visit, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also inspected Dr. Rajendra Prasad District Hospital.
He reviewed several healthcare facilities, including:
- OPD registration counter
- Doctors’ chambers
- Blood sample collection centre in the laboratory
- Emergency ward of the trauma centre
- Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre (NRC)
- Other hospital facilities
The inspection focused on reviewing healthcare services and facilities available to patients.
CM Meets Snakebite and Accident Patients
During the hospital inspection, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met two snakebite patients and an accident victim.
He enquired about their well-being and spoke to their family members about their condition.
The Chief Minister also visited the Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre, where he distributed health kits to 19 malnourished children admitted to the facility.
