CM Yogi Adityanath Holds Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur, Assures Fast Action on Public Grievances and Welfare Support

At Gorakhnath Temple, CM Yogi directs officials to resolve complaints swiftly, expand Ayushman coverage, and ensure timely housing, healthcare, and financial assistance for citizens.

Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a public grievance hearing during the ‘Janata Darshan’ at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, assuring citizens that the government stands firmly with every needy person for financial aid, housing, and healthcare support.

During his two-day visit, the Chief Minister met around 150–200 people and personally listened to their grievances, issuing immediate instructions to officials for prompt resolution.

Public Grievances Heard at Gorakhnath Temple

The Janata Darshan was held outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan within the Gorakhnath Temple complex. CM Yogi Adityanath met citizens one by one, reviewed their applications, and took note of their concerns.

Key issues raised included:

  • Land-related disputes and alleged negligence by revenue officials
  • Delays in police and administrative matters
  • Requests for housing assistance
  • Appeals for medical and financial support

The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure time-bound and fair resolution of all cases.

Strong Focus on Healthcare and Ayushman Card Coverage

CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized that no needy person should be deprived of medical treatment due to financial constraints.

He directed officials to:

  • Ensure Ayushman Bharat cards are made for all eligible beneficiaries
  • Provide immediate medical assistance where required
  • Use the discretionary fund for critically ill patients if necessary

The Chief Minister assured citizens that the government will fully support treatment expenses and urged families to focus on patient care while the state handles financial assistance.

Assurance on Housing and Welfare Support

During interactions, several citizens raised concerns regarding housing needs. The Chief Minister assured them that both Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and state housing schemes are actively providing homes to eligible beneficiaries.

He reiterated that the government remains committed to ensuring shelter for every deserving family.

Instructions to Officials for Strict Action and Fast Resolution

CM Yogi directed district administration and police officials to take immediate action on complaints related to delays and negligence.

He emphasized:

  • Strict action against erring officials
  • Timely disposal of public grievances
  • Transparent and satisfactory resolution of cases
  • Coordination between administrative and police departments

Officials were instructed to treat each application with urgency and accountability.

Go-Seva and Interaction with Children at Gorakhnath Temple

During his temple visit, CM Yogi Adityanath followed his traditional routine by offering prayers and performing go-seva (cow service) at the temple gaushala.

He:

  • Fed cows with jaggery and food
  • Ensured even less-approaching cattle were served
  • Interacted with children visiting the temple
  • Asked about their studies and encouraged them to focus on education
  • Distributed chocolates and gave blessings

The scenes reflected his continued engagement with cultural and social traditions at the temple.

Commitment to Public Welfare and Responsive Governance

The Chief Minister reiterated that the government stands with every citizen in times of need, whether it is related to healthcare, housing, or financial assistance.

He stressed that public welfare schemes must reach every eligible beneficiary without delay or discrimination.

The Janata Darshan held by CM Yogi Adityanath in Gorakhpur once again highlighted the state government’s focus on responsive governance, public grievance resolution, and welfare delivery. Through direct interaction with citizens and strict administrative instructions, the Chief Minister reinforced his commitment to ensuring timely support for every needy person.
