New Delhi: The HAL CATS Warrior Prototype is set to be unveiled later this year by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). This major step marks India’s push into advanced unmanned combat systems. The prototype will be flight-capable and used for developmental trials, with its first flight expected next year. The project is part of India’s effort to build indigenous defense technology and strengthen air combat capabilities.

What is HAL CATS Warrior?

CATS Warrior is an unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV). It is developed under HAL’s CATS (Combat Air Teaming System) program.
