New Delhi: BrahMos missile export is gaining global attention as more countries show interest in buying India’s supersonic cruise missile system. Indonesia has now agreed in principle to procure an additional BrahMos missile battery, making it another major milestone for India’s defence exports.
According to The Hindu report, the growing demand reflects the missile’s proven performance, strategic value, and India’s rising role as a trusted defence partner in the Indo-Pacific.

Indonesia has decided to procure an additional battery of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile system from India. The agreement strengthens defence cooperation between the two countries and supports Indonesia’s efforts to improve its coastal security and protect its Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). The deal also highlights India’s expanding defence diplomacy in Southeast Asia.
