Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Thursday reviewed security arrangements and operational preparedness at a Joint Temporary Operating Base (TOB) in the strategically important Doda-Kathua-Udhampur trijunction area.
The Joint TOB is jointly manned by the Special Operations Group (SOG), Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). During his visit, the DGP assessed the prevailing security situation and reviewed counter-terrorism measures being carried out by the joint forces.
DGP Reviews Joint Security Arrangements
Nalin Prabhat was accompanied by senior police officers, including the Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, Deputy Inspector General, DKR Range, Deputy Inspector General, Udhampur-Ramban Range, and Senior Superintendent of Police, Doda.
The senior officers reviewed the security arrangements and operational preparedness of the forces deployed in the area.
The discussions also covered steps to further strengthen coordination among different security agencies, improve area domination and enhance surveillance across the region.
