GAIL (India) Limited Celebrates Wellness Week 2026 to Promote Holistic Employee Health and Productivity

New Delhi: GAIL (India) Limited successfully celebrated Wellness Week 2026 from January 12 to 16 across all its work centers, reaffirming its commitment to a healthy, balanced, and people-centric workplace. Organized under the theme “Swasthya Se Sadhna – Harmony of Body, Mind, and Soul,” the week-long initiative focused on promoting holistic wellness, encompassing physical health, mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual harmony.

Leadership Emphasizes Holistic Wellness

The event was inaugurated at GAIL’s Corporate Office by Mr. Ayush Gupta, Director (HR), who highlighted the success of the company’s flagship wellness program Spandan (स्पंदन). He encouraged employees to integrate wellness practices into their daily lives, both at work and at home, emphasizing that well-being is a shared responsibility that strengthens families, teams, and organizational culture.

Daily Highlights of Wellness Week 2026

Day 1 – Mindfulness and Meditation: Sessions were held to enhance mental clarity, focus, and emotional resilience among employees.

Day 2 – Physical Vitality: Team-based activities, including fitness challenges and interactive engagement programs, promoted physical health and energy.

Day 3 – Nutrition and Healing: Employees attended healthy meal demonstrations and awareness talks to foster better dietary habits and holistic health practices.

Day 4 & 5 – Continued Engagement: The remaining days featured interactive wellness activities, workshops, and group sessions, encouraging employees to adopt sustainable wellness routines. High participation levels reflected the enthusiasm of the GAIL family and their commitment to overall well-being.

Wellness as a Core Workplace Culture

GAIL emphasized that wellness is not limited to a single week but is a continuous organizational culture. The company’s efforts aim to create a work environment that balances productivity with employee health, emotional resilience, and personal growth. By consistently engaging employees through initiatives like Spandan and Wellness Week, GAIL sets benchmarks for Indian PSUs in fostering a healthy and inclusive corporate culture.
