Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has issued posting orders for five IAS officers and three Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officers, assigning new responsibilities across power, revenue, health, industries, urban development and social welfare departments.
Among the key appointments, Mani Ram Sharma, a 2009-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Managing Director (MD), Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL). He will continue to hold his existing responsibilities as Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department and Chief Settlement Commissioner.
Mani Ram Sharma Appointed HPGCL Managing Director
Mani Ram Sharma, a 2009-batch IAS officer, has been given charge as Managing Director of Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited.
According to the posting orders, Sharma will continue to hold the following responsibilities:
- Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department
- Chief Settlement Commissioner
- Managing Director, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited
The appointment comes as part of the Haryana Government’s latest administrative reshuffle involving senior IAS and HCS officers.
Sharma had earlier been reported as having come under the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) scanner in connection with a ₹657-crore bank scam, although he was not chargesheeted, according to the information provided in the posting report.

Yash Garg to Hold Additional Charge of MD, HARTRON
Yash Garg, Director General, Industries and Commerce, Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, and Director General, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, has been assigned the additional charge of Managing Director, HARTRON.
Garg will continue with his existing responsibilities while taking on the additional charge.
The appointment adds another responsibility to his existing portfolio covering industries, commerce and micro, small and medium enterprises in Haryana.
Rajnarayan Kaushik Gets Warehousing Corporation Charge
Rajnarayan Kaushik, a 2010-batch IAS officer, has been posted as Managing Director, Haryana State Warehousing Corporation.
He will also serve as Secretary, Haryana Secretariat Establishment.
His new responsibilities cover the state warehousing organisation along with administrative matters related to the Haryana Secretariat Establishment.
Dr Munish Nagpal Appointed Special Secretary, Health
Dr Munish Nagpal, a 2016-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Special Secretary, Health Department.
The posting places Nagpal in the state’s health administration, with responsibilities related to the functioning of the Health Department.
Aniruddh Yadav Gets Additional Charge Under Urban Challenge Fund Scheme
Aniruddh Yadav, who is serving as Additional Managing Director, HSIIDC, and CEO, Global City Project, Gurugram, will also hold the charge of Mission Director, Urban Challenge Fund Scheme.
The additional responsibility expands his administrative role in Haryana’s urban development initiatives.
Three HCS Officers Also Get New Responsibilities
The Haryana Government has also issued posting orders for three HCS officers as part of the reshuffle.
Kanwar Singh
Kanwar Singh has been posted as:
- Joint Director, Food and Drugs Administration
- Joint Chief Executive Officer, Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority
Nasseb Kumar
Nasseb Kumar, currently serving as Joint Director (Administration), Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes and Antyodaya (SEWA), will also hold the charge of Member Secretary, Haryana Vimukt Ghumantu Jati Vikas Board.
Mayank Verma
Mayank Verma, a 2023-batch HCS officer, has been posted as Joint Director, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana.
Haryana Administrative Reshuffle Covers Key Departments
The latest appointments span several important areas of the state administration, including power generation, revenue and disaster management, health, industries and commerce, warehousing, urban development, food and drug administration and social welfare.
The reshuffle also involves additional-charge arrangements, allowing senior officers to take responsibility for multiple departments and organisations alongside their existing assignments.
