Chandigarh: The Haryana government has issued fresh transfer and posting orders for 10 IPS and Haryana Police Service (HPS) officers with immediate effect, bringing changes across several key police and law-and-order positions in the state.
Among the major changes, 2014-batch IPS officer Rajesh Kumar has been posted as Superintendent of Police (SP), Law and Order, with additional charge of SP, Special Task Force (STF), and SP, Social Outreach, Panchkula.
The reshuffle covers several important positions, including district police leadership, crime branches, railway police and specialised units.
Rajesh Kumar Gets SP Law and Order Charge
Rajesh Kumar, a 2014-batch IPS officer, has been given the responsibility of SP, Law and Order.
In addition to his primary posting, he will hold additional charges as:
- SP, Special Task Force (STF)
- SP, Social Outreach, Panchkula
The appointment places Kumar in charge of multiple important policing responsibilities in Panchkula.

Usha Devi, an HPS officer, has been posted as SP, State Crime Branch (SCB) and SP, Social Outreach.
Meanwhile, Jitender Gehlawat has been posted as DCP, Gohana, with additional charge of DCP, Crime, Sonepat.
Hitesh Yadav has been posted as DCP, Bahadurgarh.
