The Jammu & Kashmir government on Wednesday (April 2, 2025) appointed Mr. Brij Mohan Sharma (1995-batch IFS officer, AGMUT cadre) as the Principal Secretary in the Culture Department.
As per the official order, his appointment follows his transfer to the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Mr. Sharma will take over the role from Mr. Sanjeev Verma (2001-batch IAS officer, AGMUT cadre), who was previously holding the additional charge of the post.
