The three-day conference, from October 26 to 28, will zero in on two critical areas: forest fires/wildfires and forest certification alongside sustainable forest management practices. Delegates will engage in extensive discussions, sharing invaluable insights and best practices, fostering global cooperation. This initiative not only aims to address pressing issues at the grassroots level but also acts as a vital precursor to the upcoming 19th session of the United Nations Forum on Forests, slated to be held at the UN headquarters.
