New Delhi: Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has received Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) assessments from two rating agencies based on information available in the public domain.
The company has clarified that it did not engage either rating provider for these assessments. The ratings were independently prepared using publicly available information about HUDCO.
HUDCO Gets ESG Rating of 61.5 with ‘B’ Grade
According to a regulatory disclosure, SES ESG Research Pvt. Ltd. assigned HUDCO an ESG rating of 61.5 with a ‘B’ grade.
The assessment was based on information available in the public domain. HUDCO clarified that it did not engage SES ESG Research for the rating.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The rating provides an external assessment of the company’s environmental, social and governance-related performance based on publicly available information.

CRISIL Assigns HUDCO ESG Score of 64
In a separate disclosure dated September 16, 2026, HUDCO said that CRISIL ESG Ratings & Analytics Limited assigned the company an ESG score of 64, with a ‘Strong’ grade.
HUDCO again clarified that it did not engage the rating provider for the assessment. The score was derived solely from information available in the public domain.

Two Independent ESG Assessments for HUDCO

- CRISIL ESG Ratings & Analytics: 64, ‘Strong’ grade
- Both assessments were based on publicly available information
- HUDCO said it did not engage the respective rating providers
As ESG ratings can differ depending on the methodology, indicators and publicly available data considered by each provider, the two assessments should be viewed separately rather than as a single combined rating.
HUDCO Makes Regulatory Disclosures
HUDCO disclosed the ESG assessments to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The disclosures formally inform investors and other stakeholders about the external ESG assessments received by the company.
The assessments cover environmental, social and governance-related parameters based on information available in the public domain.
