It has since evolved into a major multinational peacekeeping drill from 2006 onwards. The 2024 edition was held from 27th July to 9th August in Mongolia.

The Indian Army is participating with a 40-member contingent primarily comprising personnel from a battalion of the Kumaon Regiment, along with troops from various Arms and Services. Notably, one woman officer and two women soldiers are also part of the delegation, underscoring India’s commitment to inclusive military participation.
