2 Officers Receive Extension in CBI

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) ordered the extension of service of an IRS and an IPS officer

The deputation tenure of Vijayendra Kumar, an IRS officer of the 2007 batch as SP in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been extended for a period of a further two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday(06.07.2022), the competent authority has approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Kumar as SP of CBI for a period of two years beyond 19.07.2022 and up to 19.07.2024.

Similarly, the deputation tenure of Vijayendra Bidari an IPS officer of 2005 batch Tamil Nadu cadre as DIG in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been extended up to October 31, 2022. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (06.09.2022), the competent authority has approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Bidari as DIG of CBI beyond 18.07.2022 and up to 31.10.2022.
