In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Punjab, the Bhagwant Mann led state government has transferred and posted 32 IPS officers and 59 state police officers (PPS).
1993 batch IPS officer R N Dhoke has been made Special DGP, Internal Security, Punjab, SAS Nagar. He was Special DGP, Security Punjab and, in addition, Enforcement Director Mining Punjab, SAS Nagar.
2008 batch IPS Mandeep Singh Sidhu has been appointed as DIG, IRB, Patiala. He was DIG Administration Chandigarh, Punjab.
2010 batch IPS officer J Elanchezhian is to look after the work of DIG, Counter Intelligence, Punjab, SAS Nagar. He was AIG, Counter Intelligence, Punjab, SAS Nagar.
