With an aim to provide better facilities to the AR teams, Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat of Rachakonda Commissionerate, has inaugurated a Canteen, on Thursday, at CAR Amberpet. The canteen is worth Rs. 5 Lakh and in addition to it, he has also launched a separate volleyball court and women’s shuttle badminton court.
In an interview, the CP stated that Rachakonda Commissionerate is the largest one in the country that covers a Jurisdictional area of 5091 Sq. Km covering half of the area of districts Medchal-Malkajgiri and Rangareddy and total Yadadari Bhongir districts.
The commissioner further stated that AR teams work tirelessly while providing services during escorts, Bandobust duties, PSO duties, and VIP Programs. He also mentioned that the teams are the ones working as first-line responders during natural calamities. A dedicated Disaster management unit has also been established at CAR Amberpet and TATA Aerospace has provided boats as well.
Mr. Bhagwat applauded the staff for working hard with utmost dedication and said that intending to provide better facilities these welfare measures have been implemented. He further assured that more welfare initiatives would be considered and implemented in the future as well.
