New Delhi: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has announced the appointment of Sanjay Kumar Gupta as Principal of its Zonal Training Centre in Agra, effective May 05, 2026. The move is part of the organisation’s ongoing senior management restructuring and has been disclosed under SEBI Listing Regulations.
Appointment Disclosed Under SEBI Regulations
The official communication was submitted to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Following his appointment, Gupta has been designated as Senior Management Personnel (SMP) within LIC.
The disclosure has also been published on LIC’s official website in compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Experience in administrative and marketing functions
- Held multiple leadership roles within LIC
- Served as Secretary (IT/Digital Transformation) at Central Office, Mumbai
His previous role involved overseeing digital transformation initiatives and strengthening IT capabilities within the organisation.
Strong Academic Credentials
Gupta holds a Science degree and has completed a Post Graduate Executive Programme from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad). His academic background complements his extensive professional experience, preparing him for his leadership role in training and development.
