Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the ET Viksit MP 2026 Conclave in Bhopal and highlighted the state’s accelerating growth trajectory, ambitious investment targets, and its vision to contribute significantly to India’s “Developed India @2047” mission.
The Chief Minister addressed investors, policymakers, and industry leaders, outlining Madhya Pradesh’s transformation into an emerging industrial hub driven by investor-friendly reforms, infrastructure development, and policy transparency.
Madhya Pradesh Aims for $2 Trillion Contribution to India’s Economy
CM Yadav stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is moving towards a $30 trillion economy goal by 2047, and Madhya Pradesh aims to contribute approximately $2 trillion to this national vision.
He said that the state is aligning its development roadmap with the broader Viksit Bharat @2047 mission and is actively positioning itself as one of the fastest-growing states in India.

₹10 Lakh Crore Investment Proposals Moving to Ground Level
A major highlight of the address was the state’s investment progress. The Chief Minister announced that:
- Madhya Pradesh has received massive investment proposals in recent years
- Out of these, nearly ₹10 lakh crore worth of investments have already reached implementation stage
- The government is actively converting MoUs and proposals into on-ground industrial projects
He added that this reflects rising investor confidence in the state’s governance and industrial ecosystem.
Investor-Friendly Policies and Transparent Governance Driving Growth
CM Yadav emphasized that Madhya Pradesh has become a preferred destination for investors due to:
- Transparent governance systems
- Industry-friendly policies
- Ease of doing business reforms
- Availability of land banks for industrial projects
He stated that the state government has created a “pro-investment environment” that is helping attract large-scale industrial interest across sectors.
Infrastructure and Connectivity Boosting Industrial Expansion
The Chief Minister highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s strategic advantage due to its central location in India, which offers strong logistical connectivity.
Key developments include:
- Expansion of road connectivity in all directions
- Focus on infrastructure-led development
- Improved logistics and transport networks
- Strengthening of industrial corridors and land availability
He noted that these factors make Madhya Pradesh highly attractive for manufacturing and distribution-based industries.

Global Investors Summit 2025 Boosted Investment Momentum
Dr. Yadav recalled the success of the Global Investors Summit 2025 held in Bhopal, stating that it played a crucial role in strengthening the state’s investment pipeline.
He said the summit resulted in:
- Record investment interest
- Large-scale MoU signings
- Strong participation from domestic and international investors
This momentum, he added, is now translating into real industrial projects.
“Development Caravan in Motion for Three Years”: CM
The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh has witnessed continuous development over the past three years, calling it a “growth caravan moving forward steadily.”
He reiterated that the state is:
- Strengthening both agriculture and industrial sectors
- Emerging as a dual-engine economy
- Focused on employment generation and industrial expansion
He also mentioned that 2025 was dedicated to industry and employment growth in the state’s policy focus.
Space-Tech Policy and Youth Innovation Focus
Highlighting India’s growing global reputation in science and technology, CM Yadav praised Indian youth and scientists for their achievements in global technology sectors, especially space innovation.
He said Madhya Pradesh has also launched a Space-Tech Policy to encourage innovation, startups, and advanced technology investment in the state.

The Chief Minister also paid tribute to Veerangana Rani Durgavati on her martyrdom day, remembering her sacrifice and legacy. He said her courage continues to inspire the people of Madhya Pradesh.
