The discussions focused on investment opportunities, industrial cooperation, trade, market access and partnerships in sectors ranging from agriculture and pharmaceuticals to manufacturing, logistics, tourism and renewable energy.

Dr Yadav also invited the Ethiopian business community and companies from Ras Al Khaimah to explore investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh and extended an invitation to the Ethiopian President for the proposed Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2027 in the state.

Invitation Extended for Global Investors Summit 2027

Dr Yadav invited the Ethiopian President to participate in the proposed Global Investors Summit 2027 in Madhya Pradesh.

The summit is expected to provide an international platform for the state to showcase its investment potential and connect global companies with opportunities across key sectors.

The Chief Minister said partnerships with international investors can help Madhya Pradesh strengthen its position as a centre for investment, industry and innovation.

For the state, such international outreach is also aimed at bringing new businesses, technology and investment into sectors that can contribute to industrial growth and employment.

Ras Al Khaimah Meeting Focuses on Industrial Cooperation

On the second day of his UAE visit, Dr Yadav also met Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

The meeting focused on Madhya Pradesh’s investor-friendly environment and opportunities for cooperation between the state and Ras Al Khaimah.

Discussions covered investment promotion, industrial cooperation, investor engagement and market access. Both sides also examined areas where businesses from Ras Al Khaimah could find opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

Potential cooperation was discussed in several sectors, including:

  • Ceramics and construction materials
  • Pharmaceuticals and medical devices
  • Tourism and hospitality
  • Food processing
  • Logistics
  • Renewable energy

The two sides stressed the need for stronger institutional coordination to support investment and business activity in these areas.

Focus on Faster Investor Facilitation

The discussions also went beyond attracting investment and covered the practical support investors may require after deciding to set up operations in the state.

The meeting discussed time-bound facilitation for investors in areas such as land identification, necessary approvals, infrastructure and state-level nodal support.

A proposal was also placed to invite companies and institutions from Ras Al Khaimah to invest in Madhya Pradesh and jointly identify priority sectors for cooperation.

Such coordination can help investors navigate the process of setting up projects while improving communication between businesses and government agencies.

Why MP Sees Potential in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah has established strengths in manufacturing, ceramics, construction materials, pharmaceuticals, tourism and logistics. These sectors overlap with several areas where Madhya Pradesh is seeking greater investment.

Madhya Pradesh, on the other hand, offers investors a central location within India, competitive costs, industrial land, established infrastructure and a single-window system. Its location also provides businesses with access to the wider Indian market.

The meeting therefore focused on how the complementary strengths of the two regions could create new opportunities for investment and industrial cooperation.

For Madhya Pradesh, partnerships with businesses from Ras Al Khaimah could bring capital, technology, business networks and new market opportunities. For investors, the state can provide a base for accessing one of the world’s major consumer markets.

MP Steps Up Global Investment Outreach

The meetings with the Ethiopian President and the Ras Al Khaimah ruler are part of Madhya Pradesh’s wider effort to attract international investment and build stronger economic partnerships.

The state is looking beyond individual investment proposals and seeking cooperation across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, infrastructure, technology, food processing, pharmaceuticals and renewable energy.

The focus on investor facilitation is equally important. Attracting investment depends not only on showcasing opportunities but also on providing businesses with timely access to land, approvals, infrastructure and government support.

As Madhya Pradesh prepares for the proposed Global Investors Summit 2027, its international outreach could help the state connect with a wider pool of companies and institutions.

For the state, stronger global investment links could translate into new industrial projects, business activity, technology adoption and employment opportunities. The Dubai meetings underline the government’s effort to position Madhya Pradesh as a competitive destination for global investors while building long-term economic partnerships beyond India.
