Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will inaugurate a one-day state-level conclave on Samriddh Madhya Pradesh@2047 on August 24 at the Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Centre in Bhopal.
Organised by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (AIGGPA), the conclave will focus on the “Contribution of Centrally Funded Institutions for Samriddh Madhya Pradesh@2047.” The theme is “One Institute–One Promise.”
Focus on Inclusive Growth
The conclave will bring together representatives from central institutions and government departments to discuss inclusive economic growth, social empowerment, research, innovation, technology and skill development.
More than 130 institutions are expected to participate, including IIT Indore, IIM Indore, IISER Bhopal, MANIT Bhopal, AIIMS Bhopal, NFSU Bhopal, RRCAT Indore, DRDO, ISRO and universities.
The discussions will focus on connecting the expertise, research capabilities and infrastructure of these institutions with Madhya Pradesh’s development priorities and current challenges.
‘One Institute–One Promise’
Under the “One Institute–One Promise” initiative, participating institutions will make an implementable commitment aligned with the state’s development needs.
Departments covering agriculture, healthcare, education, energy, environment, MSMEs, industry, skill development and tribal welfare will also present their priorities and challenges.
MoUs to Strengthen Partnerships
MoUs between AIGGPA and central institutions will be signed during the conclave to promote long-term cooperation. The partnerships are expected to support joint research, technical solutions, development projects and capacity-building programmes.
Building a Development Ecosystem
The conclave aims to strengthen coordination among government departments, educational institutions, research organisations, industry leaders and innovation networks. The initiative seeks to bring together expertise, research and practical ideas to develop effective solutions for key challenges. By improving collaboration across these sectors, the conclave is expected to support innovation, create new opportunities and contribute to Madhya Pradesh’s long-term economic and social development.
