CM Mohan Yadav Announces Zero School Dropout Rate in MP, Sandipani Model Gains National Praise

Madhya Pradesh strengthens its education system with Sandipani Schools, PM Shri Schools and quality learning initiatives under NEP 2020 to provide modern, employment-oriented and value-based education to students.

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that education is the most powerful tool for bringing social transformation and empowering future generations. Addressing an event in Indore, the Chief Minister highlighted the achievements of the state’s school education system and said that the school dropout rate at the primary level has reached zero in Madhya Pradesh.

Dr. Yadav said that the state government is committed to providing children with modern, employment-oriented, high-quality and value-based education in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

He said that the state’s education ecosystem is developing through three major initiatives — Sandipani Schools, PM Shri Schools, and Prime Minister College of Excellence — creating a strong foundation for students from school to higher education.

Sandipani School Model Receiving National Appreciation

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated that the Sandipani School model of Madhya Pradesh is being appreciated across the country for improving the quality of education and providing better learning opportunities to students.

He said the government is continuously working to ensure that every child gets access to quality education and has opportunities to progress in life.

“Children should study well, develop skills, and move forward in life. Our focus is not only on education but also on providing cultured(value-based) education,” Dr. Yadav said.

He added that the state’s newly developed education models are aimed at creating confident, skilled and responsible citizens.

Government Schools Outperform Private Schools in Board Results

Highlighting the performance of government schools, Chief Minister Yadav said that government institutions delivered excellent results in this year’s board examinations.

He said the performance of government schools was better than many private schools, reflecting the improvement in the state’s education infrastructure.

The Chief Minister also informed that:

  • 58 students from Sandipani Schools secured positions in the state-level merit list in board examinations.
  • Government schools are witnessing improved academic outcomes due to better teaching methods and facilities.

CM Mohan Yadav Pays Tribute to Lakshman Singh Gaur on Birth Anniversary

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in the Hind Rakshak Punyoday Prakalp programme in Indore and paid tribute to the founder of the initiative, late Lakshman Singh Gaur (Lakhan Dada), on his 68th birth anniversary.

Dr. Yadav described Lakshman Singh Gaur as a source of inspiration for the youth and praised his contribution towards social service and community development.

He said that Gaur worked for social improvement and raised his voice against issues affecting society.

Free Books and Notebooks Distributed to Schoolgirls

During the programme, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav distributed free books and notebooks to schoolgirls. The books were based on the life stories and achievements of great personalities of India.

The Chief Minister interacted with students and encouraged them to work hard, pursue education and achieve success in life.

The initiative aims to motivate students by introducing them to inspiring stories of national heroes.

Punyoday Prakalp to Distribute Over 3 Lakh Books and Notebooks

Punyoday Prakalp coordinator Eklavya Gaur said that the initiative was started in 2004 by late Lakshman Singh Gaur.

Under the programme:

  • More than 60,000 school students will receive educational materials.
  • Over 3 lakh notebooks and books will be distributed between July 11 and August 11.
  • Students will receive books highlighting inspirational life stories of great personalities.

He urged students to use these educational resources effectively for their academic growth.

Education as a Tool for Social Change: CM Yadav

Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that education plays a crucial role in shaping society and creating opportunities for young people.

He said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, several initiatives are being implemented with the vision of putting national interest and nation-first policies at the centre of development.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of values and social responsibility among students.

He referred to the friendship of Lord Krishna and Sudama as an example of compassion and encouraged young people to support underprivileged and needy friends.

Guru Purnima Celebrations and Future Education Initiatives

The Chief Minister said that the state government has decided to celebrate Guru Purnima Mahotsav on a grand scale.

He added that the government is building modern Sandipani Schools to provide better educational opportunities for children.

According to Dr. Yadav, the state’s efforts have resulted in significant improvements in school education, and no child in Madhya Pradesh will remain deprived of education.

Madhya Pradesh Education System Moving Towards Global Standards

The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is working towards creating an education system aligned with global standards.

Key priorities of the government include:

  • Improving school infrastructure
  • Expanding quality education facilities
  • Promoting skill-based learning
  • Providing employment-oriented education
  • Ensuring value-based learning for students

He said that the combination of Sandipani Schools, PM Shri Schools and Prime Minister College of Excellence will create a strong education network across the state.

  • MLA Golu Shukla
  • Chairman of Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation Sawan Sonkar
  • Social workers Gaurav Ranadive, Shravan Chawda, and Sumit Mishra

A large number of school students also participated in the programme.
