New Delhi: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has announced the appointment of Mr. Neeraj as a Part-time Non-official (Independent) Director on its Board, effective August 14, 2026.
The appointment has been made by the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. The appointment is effective from the date of notification or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
NALCO is currently completing the necessary formalities for his formal induction as an Independent Director on the company’s Board.
NALCO Board Appointment
The Ministry of Mines issued the order appointing Mr. Neeraj as a Part-time Non-official (Independent) Director on the NALCO Board.

NALCO to Complete Formal Induction Process
NALCO said it is currently completing the required formalities related to the appointment.
After these formalities are completed, the Board of Directors will formally induct Mr. Neeraj as an Independent Director.
The process will be carried out in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The company has issued the announcement for the information and records of its stakeholders.
Focus on Corporate Governance and Independent Oversight
The appointment adds another independent perspective to NALCO’s Board and is expected to support corporate governance and strategic oversight.
As a Part-time Non-official Independent Director, Mr. Neeraj will become part of the company’s Board structure once the formal induction process is completed.
NALCO’s compliance with the Companies Act and SEBI listing regulations will govern the formal appointment process.
