New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has relieved Ashutosh Gautam, Executive Director (Highway), from his duties with effect from the forenoon of October 19, 2026, following his appointment as Director (Projects) at NBCC (India) Limited. His appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
RVNL informed the stock exchanges about the senior management change under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Following his relieving, Gautam ceased to be part of RVNL’s senior management from the same date.
The development marks a transition in the company’s senior leadership, with responsibilities for highway projects and the Project Management Group (PMG) being reassigned to other senior executives.
Ashutosh Gautam’s Appointment as Director (Projects) at NBCC
Ashutosh Gautam has been appointed as Director (Projects) at NBCC (India) Limited following approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
Before this appointment, he served as Executive Director (Highway) at RVNL, where he was associated with the company’s highway project activities.
His relieving from RVNL enables him to take up his new responsibilities at NBCC, a public sector enterprise involved in project management consultancy, engineering, procurement and construction, and real estate development.

RVNL Redistributes Highway Project Responsibilities
Following Gautam’s departure, RVNL has reassigned responsibilities to ensure continuity in the management and execution of its highway projects.
According to the company’s office order, the revised arrangements are as follows:
- Highway projects: All highway projects previously handled by Gautam will be managed by the respective original Executive Directors.
- Project Management Group (PMG): Responsibilities relating to the PMG will be handled by the Executive Director (Planning & Projects).
These arrangements are intended to maintain operational continuity and ensure that ongoing project-related activities continue under the designated senior officials.
Charge Relinquishment and Administrative Formalities
As part of the transition process, Gautam is required to submit a Charge Relinquishment Report to the Human Resources department at RVNL’s corporate office.
He must also inform the company of the date on which he assumes charge at NBCC. This information will facilitate the issuance of his Last Pay Certificate and completion of the associated administrative formalities.
The company has formally communicated the change to the stock exchanges in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements.
