Hrishikesh Kumar Appointed HSCC CEO
Hrishikesh Kumar, who is serving as Senior Executive Director (Finance) at NBCC, will take charge as the CEO of HSCC following its consolidation with the parent company.
The appointment is part of the organisational restructuring undertaken after the merger of HSCC with NBCC.
The move is expected to support a smoother integration of HSCC’s operations with NBCC and help streamline the management structure of the healthcare infrastructure business.
Saurabh Srivastava Named Chief Financial Officer
Along with the appointment of the CEO, Saurabh Srivastava, CGM at HSCC, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer.
The appointment establishes the key executive leadership structure for HSCC following its merger with NBCC.
The leadership changes come as NBCC works to integrate the subsidiary into its organisational framework and rationalise overlapping functions.
NBCC CMD Authorised to Modify HSCC Leadership
It may be underlined that the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NBCC has been authorised to appoint or modify executive leadership positions at HSCC, including the CEO, CFO and COO, as and when required.
However, any such appointment or modification is subject to notification to the NBCC Board.
This arrangement provides flexibility to NBCC’s management to make changes in the leadership structure based on operational requirements following the merger.
HSCC Merger Aims to Streamline Operations
HSCC (India) Limited is a key consultancy and project management organisation specialising in healthcare infrastructure.
The consolidation of HSCC with NBCC is aimed at creating a more streamlined corporate structure and improving operational efficiency.
The merger is expected to help NBCC achieve several objectives, including:
- Streamlining the corporate structure
- Reducing administrative costs
- Lowering regulatory compliance overheads
- Eliminating functional redundancies
- Improving operational efficiency
- Strengthening integration of healthcare infrastructure operations
The restructuring is intended to ensure that overlapping functions and administrative processes are rationalised after the merger.
Merger Aligns With Government CPSE Rationalisation Policy
The consolidation of HSCC with NBCC is also in line with the Government of India’s broader policy of consolidating and rationalising Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs).
The policy aims to create greater scale, improve efficiency and reduce duplication across government-owned enterprises.
The merger of HSCC into NBCC is therefore part of a wider approach to organisational rationalisation and operational consolidation among CPSEs.
