Neyveli: NLC India Limited, in collaboration with the Department of Mining Engineering, Anna University, organised a one-day workshop on the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (OSH & WC) Code 2020 and its implications for the mining sector.
Titled “Decoding the OSH & WC Code 2020: Implications, Compliance & Safety for Mining Industry,” the workshop was held at the Learning & Development Centre in Neyveli and focused on regulatory compliance and strengthening occupational safety and health practices in mining operations.
Around 150 mining professionals, executives, government officials, academicians and other stakeholders participated in the programme.
Workshop Focuses on OSH & WC Code 2020
The workshop provided a platform for participants to understand the provisions and implications of the OSH & WC Code 2020 in the context of the mining industry.
Key areas discussed during the programme included:
- Compliance requirements under the OSH & WC Code 2020.
