New Delhi/Vijayawada: National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation to promote digital commerce adoption among micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Andhra Pradesh.
The agreement was signed during the MSME Growth Summit 2026 held in Vijayawada under the TEAM Initiative.
MoU Signed in Presence of Andhra Pradesh CM
The MoU was signed by V. Suresh Babu, Zonal General Manager (Hyderabad Zone), NSIC, and Viswa M, CEO of AP MSME Development Corporation.
The exchange of the agreement took place in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Focus on Digital Empowerment of MSMEs
Under this partnership, both organizations will work together to strengthen digital capabilities and improve market access for MSMEs across the state.
Key focus areas include:
- Awareness on digital commerce platforms
- Capacity building and training programs
- MSME onboarding support for e-commerce platforms
- Development of a strong digital business ecosystem
Strengthening MSME Ecosystem
The collaboration is expected to enhance entrepreneurial growth, improve market connectivity, and help MSMEs take advantage of emerging digital trade opportunities.
NSIC stated that the initiative under the TEAM framework is designed to accelerate technology adoption and digital inclusion among small businesses.
