Gurugram: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Power, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm at more than 200 establishments and offices across the country.
At the POWERGRID Corporate Centre in Gurugram, Vamsi Rama Mohan Burra, Chairman & Managing Director, hoisted the National Flag in the presence of Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), Naveen Srivastava, Director (Operations), senior officials, employees and their family members.
POWERGRID Independence Day Celebration in Gurugram
The ceremony began with the National Anthem, followed by the singing of Vande Mataram. The proceedings reflected the spirit of national pride, unity and dedication towards the nation.
The Independence Day celebrations were simultaneously organised at various POWERGRID establishments and offices across India, highlighting the organisation’s continued contribution to the country’s infrastructure development and nation-building efforts.
