Powergrid Awards Rs 21.3 Crore High-Voltage Emergency Restoration System Order to Advait Energy Transitions

Ahmedabad: Advait Energy Transitions Limited, a leading provider of power transmission and substation solutions, has received a work order worth Rs 21.3 crore from Powergrid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) for the procurement of an Emergency Restoration System (ERS) suitable for up to 765kV AC / ±800kV DC applications. The order was confirmed on 28 November 2025 and will be executed over an 18-month period.

Scope and Significance of the Order

The order, designated “Package ERS-1”, involves the supply and implementation of advanced ERS equipment designed to restore high-voltage transmission systems quickly in case of emergencies or outages. These systems are critical for maintaining grid reliability and stability, particularly for high-capacity transmission lines across the country.

The project timeline of 18 months reflects the complexity and high technical standards required for ERS systems capable of handling ultra-high voltage levels.

Advait Energy Transitions, headquartered in Ahmedabad, provides end-to-end solutions for power transmission, substation, and telecommunication infrastructure. Its product portfolio includes insulators, conductors, transmission line towers, stringing tools, and various power transmission and substation services.

Following the announcement, the company’s shares closed at Rs 1,542.35 on the BSE, down 1.28%, reflecting market fluctuations despite the new order win.
