Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has ordered a minor administrative reshuffle involving six IAS and seven RAS officersamid the ongoing Model Code of Conduct (MCC) for civic body elections.
The latest orders include changes at the divisional, departmental and district levels. Udaipur Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani has been transferred and appointed Commissioner of the Tribal Area Development Department (TAD).
Khazan Singh, who was awaiting posting orders, has been appointed as the new Divisional Commissioner of Udaipur.
The government has also issued fresh postings for IAS officers who were awaiting posting orders, while several RAS officers have been moved to new administrative assignments.
Udaipur Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani Transferred
One of the key changes in the reshuffle is the transfer of Pragya Kevalramani, who was serving as Divisional Commissioner, Udaipur.
Kevalramani has now been appointed as Commissioner, Tribal Area Development Department (TAD).
Her transfer comes as part of the latest round of administrative changes announced by the Rajasthan government.
In her place, Khazan Singh, who was awaiting posting orders, has been appointed Divisional Commissioner, Udaipur.
The change at the divisional commissioner level is among the prominent appointments in the latest order.
Three IAS Officers Awaiting Posting Orders Get New Assignments
The government has also assigned fresh responsibilities to three IAS officers who were awaiting posting orders.
H. Guitte, who was awaiting posting orders, has been appointed Officer on Special Duty (OSD), HCM RIPA, Jaipur.
Avichal Chaturvedi has been appointed Commissioner, Food Safety.
The government has also posted Sohanlal, who was serving as Additional Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, as Joint Secretary, Agriculture Department.
Another officer, Divyansh Singh, has been shifted from his position as SDM, Beawar, and appointed Joint Secretary, Education Department.
These changes cover a mix of departmental and field-level responsibilities.
Seven RAS Officers Also Transferred
Alongside the IAS reshuffle, the Rajasthan government has transferred seven Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers.
The changes include appointments to posts such as ADM, SDO, Deputy Secretary, Assistant Collector and other field-level administrative positions.
The government has also cancelled the transfer of one RAS officer as part of the latest orders.
Sushil Kumar Saini’s Transfer Cancelled
The government has cancelled the earlier transfer of Sushil Kumar Saini.
Saini had been ordered to move from Assistant Collector, Sikar, to SDO, Nohar.
With the latest order, that transfer has been cancelled.
Rajlakshmi Gehlot Gets New Assignment in Chittorgarh
Rajlakshmi Gehlot, who was serving as ADM, Chittorgarh, has been transferred and appointed ADM, Land Acquisition, Chittorgarh.
The new assignment keeps her within Chittorgarh while changing the nature of her administrative responsibilities.
Jagat Rajeshwar Posted to Rajasthan State Commission for Women
Jagat Rajeshwar has been transferred from the Agriculture Department and posted as Deputy Secretary, Rajasthan State Commission for Women, Jaipur.
The officer will now take up the administrative assignment at the state-level commission in Jaipur.
Jaipal Singh Rathore Shifted to Beawar as SDO
Jaipal Singh Rathore, who was serving as Deputy Commissioner, Ajmer Development Authority, has been transferred and appointed SDO, Beawar.
The posting brings Rathore into a field-level administrative role in Beawar.
Kartikeya Meena Appointed SDO, Aklera
Kartikeya Meena has been transferred from his position as DSO, Kota, and appointed SDO, Aklera.
The new posting places him in charge of sub-divisional administration at Aklera.
Pooja Meena Posted as SDO, Bhawani Mandi
Pooja Meena, who was serving as Land Acquisition Officer for the ERCP Project, Water Resources Department, Alwar, has been transferred and appointed SDO, Bhawani Mandi.
Her new role shifts her from the project-related land acquisition assignment to a field-level sub-divisional posting.
Sunita Yadav-3 Transferred to Nohar
Sunita Yadav-3, who was serving as Executive Director, Grievance Redressal, Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency, Jaipur, has been appointed SDO, Nohar, Hanumangarh.
The appointment gives her a new field-level administrative responsibility in Hanumangarh district.
Banwari Lal Bairwa Appointed Assistant Collector, Bhadra
Banwari Lal Bairwa, who was serving as SDO, Aklera, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Collector, Bhadra.
His transfer is part of the latest RAS-level changes announced by the state government.

Reshuffle Comes During Civic Poll Model Code of Conduct
The latest administrative changes come at a time when the Model Code of Conduct is in force for civic body elections in Rajasthan.
Against this backdrop, the government has made a relatively limited reshuffle involving officers at both the IAS and RAS levels.
The changes include both field postings and departmental assignments, with several officers moved from existing responsibilities to new roles and some officers who were awaiting posting orders finally being assigned positions.
The transfer of Udaipur’s divisional commissioner and the appointment of a new officer to the post are among the most notable changes in the latest administrative order.
With the latest reshuffle, six IAS and seven RAS officers have been affected, while the transfer of one RAS officer has separately been cancelled.
