RITES and Crisil Sign MoU to Deliver Data-Driven Infrastructure Consultancy Solutions

Partnership to focus on railways, highways, metro, airports, energy, and urban infrastructure projects by combining RITES’ engineering expertise with Crisil’s analytics and advisory capabilities.

New Delhi: RITES Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Crisil Limited to jointly explore infrastructure consultancy and advisory opportunities in India and international markets. The partnership aims to combine RITES’ engineering and transport infrastructure expertise with Crisil’s strengths in analytics, research, and market intelligence.

The agreement was announced on May 27, 2026, in Gurugram.

Strategic Partnership for Infrastructure and Advisory Services

Under the MoU, both organisations will collaborate on consultancy assignments across multiple infrastructure sectors.

The partnership will focus on delivering integrated and data-driven infrastructure solutions by combining technical consultancy with advanced analytics and financial insights.

Key areas of collaboration include:

  • Railways and metro rail
  • Highways and expressways
  • Airports and ports
  • Ropeways, bridges, and tunnels
  • Urban transport systems
  • Energy and hydropower projects
  • Water resources and wastewater management
  • Industrial infrastructure projects

The collaboration will cover opportunities both within India and overseas.

Focus on Data Intelligence and Financial Advisory

As part of the agreement, Crisil will support RITES through:

  • Market intelligence and research
  • Data validation and analytics
  • Financial due diligence
  • Valuation support
  • Development of analytical models for consultancy projects

The companies aim to improve project planning, risk assessment, and decision-making capabilities for infrastructure assignments.

Strengthening Infrastructure Consultancy Capabilities

The partnership is expected to strengthen analytical and advisory support for large infrastructure projects. By combining engineering expertise with data-led insights, the two companies aim to provide more efficient and sustainable consultancy solutions.

The collaboration also reflects growing demand for integrated infrastructure planning backed by financial and market analysis.

Expansion into Domestic and Global Markets

RITES and Crisil plan to jointly pursue consultancy assignments in domestic as well as international markets. The MoU is expected to help both organisations expand their presence in infrastructure advisory and project consultancy services.
