RITES Signs MoU with MECON to Jointly Pursue Infrastructure Projects Across India and Global Markets

New Delhi: RITES Ltd., a leading government-owned transport infrastructure consultancy, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MECON Ltd., a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, to jointly identify business opportunities and pursue consultancy and infrastructure projects across India and international markets.

The strategic partnership aims to leverage the complementary strengths of both organizations. While RITES brings decades of expertise in transport infrastructure and engineering consultancy, MECON contributes its strong capabilities in the metal, mining, energy, and allied sectors. Together, the two state-run companies will work towards delivering integrated infrastructure solutions across multiple sectors.

RITES and MECON Partner to Expand Infrastructure Consultancy

Under the newly signed MoU, RITES and MECON will collaborate on identifying and executing consultancy assignments and infrastructure development projects by combining their technical expertise and sectoral experience.

The partnership is designed to enhance project execution capabilities, strengthen business development efforts, and enable both organizations to pursue larger and more complex infrastructure projects. By leveraging each other’s strengths, the companies aim to provide comprehensive engineering and consultancy services for clients in India and abroad.
