Government Stressing Governance and Infrastructure Push

Since taking office as the BJP’s first Chief Minister in Bihar, Samrat Chaudhary has strongly emphasized governance reforms, law and order, infrastructure growth, and industrial investment.

Working closely with Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, who is widely credited with major reforms in Bihar’s power and infrastructure sectors, the state government has launched multiple initiatives to improve the ease of doing business and accelerate development projects.

Amrit’s tenure in the power sector is particularly noted for expanding rural electrification across Bihar, while large-scale road and flyover projects continue reshaping Patna and several other cities.

The Chief Minister said the suggestions and experiences shared by officers would play an important role in speeding up Bihar’s journey toward becoming a developed state.
