Samrat Chaudhary on Thursday chaired a first-of-its-kind meeting in New Delhi with IAS and IPS officers of the Bihar cadre posted in the national capital, focusing on accelerating development, attracting investments, and strengthening the vision of a “Viksit Bihar.”
The high-level interaction centered around governance reforms, economic growth, infrastructure expansion, and promoting Bihar’s emerging sectors and brand potential at the national level.
Sharing details of the meeting on X, the Chief Minister said he held extensive discussions with Bihar cadre officers regarding the state’s development, good governance, and future roadmap.

Focus on Development, Investment and Brand Bihar
The meeting was attended by Pratyaya Amrit, Bihar CM’s adviser Dipak Kumar, Bihar Resident Commissioner Manoj Kumar Singh, along with several senior officials.
During the interaction, officers shared suggestions and experiences related to Bihar’s development priorities, investment opportunities, and administrative reforms.
According to sources, discussions also focused on building “Brand Bihar” and advancing the broader vision of “Viksit Bihar for Viksit Bharat.”
Government Stressing Governance and Infrastructure Push
Since taking office as the BJP’s first Chief Minister in Bihar, Samrat Chaudhary has strongly emphasized governance reforms, law and order, infrastructure growth, and industrial investment.
Working closely with Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, who is widely credited with major reforms in Bihar’s power and infrastructure sectors, the state government has launched multiple initiatives to improve the ease of doing business and accelerate development projects.
Amrit’s tenure in the power sector is particularly noted for expanding rural electrification across Bihar, while large-scale road and flyover projects continue reshaping Patna and several other cities.
The Chief Minister said the suggestions and experiences shared by officers would play an important role in speeding up Bihar’s journey toward becoming a developed state.
