The government of Uttar Pradesh, led by Yogi Adityanath, has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring nine PCS officers across the state. The changes include appointments at the levels of City Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), and municipal administration. Two officers who were on the waiting list have also been assigned new postings.
According to an order issued by the Appointments Department, Vinod Kumar Singh, who was serving as City Magistrate in Prayagraj, has been promoted and posted as Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) in Mirzapur. Meanwhile, Vinay Kumar Singh, who earlier handled responsibilities as City Magistrate and SDM in Moradabad, has been appointed the new City Magistrate of Prayagraj.
Major Changes in Ballia and Lucknow
Gulshan, serving as Chief Manager of the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Sugar Mills Association, has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer of Ballia. At the same time, Suresh Kumar Pal, who was serving as CRO in Ballia, has been transferred to Lucknow headquarters as Deputy Director in the Directorate of Child Development and Nutrition.
In another key transfer, Barkha Singh, who was posted as SDM in Bhadohi, has been appointed Chief Manager of the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Sugar Mills Association.
New SDMs Appointed in Multiple Districts
As part of the reshuffle, Avinash Kumar Gautam has been appointed SDM in Azamgarh, while Abhishek Verma has been posted as SDM in Farrukhabad.
Meanwhile, Amrita Singh, who was serving as Additional Municipal Commissioner in the Kanpur Municipal Corporation, has been appointed Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) in Amethi. Anoop Kumar, previously posted as Additional Municipal Commissioner in the Varanasi Municipal Corporation, has now been appointed Municipal Commissioner of the Kanpur Municipal Corporation.
