The Governor of Tripura, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, interacted with a student delegation from Haryana participating in Yuva Sangam Phase VI during their visit to Lok Bhavan in Agartala on May 26, 2026.
The delegation, led by the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, received a warm welcome at the National Institute of Technology Agartala as part of the nationwide cultural exchange initiative.

Students Learn About Governance and Development
During the interaction, Governor Nallu shared insights into Tripura’s governance structure, administrative framework, and developmental priorities. The engagement gave students a closer understanding of the state’s institutional ecosystem and ongoing welfare initiatives.
The interaction also deepened the participants’ appreciation of Tripura’s cultural diversity and reinforced the spirit of national integration among youth from different regions of India.
Delegation Explores Tripura’s Heritage
As part of the experiential learning programme, the Haryana student delegation visited several historical, cultural, and administrative landmarks across Tripura. The students experienced the state’s rich heritage, vibrant traditions, and local culture firsthand.
The delegation also visited revered temples, gaining exposure to Tripura’s spiritual and cultural legacy.
Yuva Sangam Promoting National Integration
Launched by the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education, Yuva Sangam seeks to strengthen national unity, cultural harmony, and emotional integration through immersive educational exchanges.
Phase VI of the initiative connects participants from 22 paired States and Union Territories, encouraging deeper understanding of India’s diversity, innovation ecosystems, and shared vision for nation-building.
