Dubai: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav began a four-day investment and business visit to the United Arab Emirates on September 7, with the state government showcasing its investment opportunities, traditional products and industrial capabilities to global investors and business leaders.
The high-level delegation is also participating in AIM Congress 2026, being held in Dubai from September 7 to 9. The government said the visit is aimed at presenting Madhya Pradesh as a destination for foreign direct investment (FDI), industrial partnerships and long-term economic cooperation.
Investment Outreach and Engagements
On the first day, Yadav interacted with members of the Indian diaspora, Indian diplomatic officials, Arab parliamentary leadership and representatives of the international investment community.

The Chief Minister also invited investors and international representatives to participate in the Global Investors Summit 2027 to be held in Madhya Pradesh.

MP’s Traditional Products Showcased in Dubai
Yadav inaugurated an exhibition of One District One Product (ODOP) and Geographical Indication (GI) products at Taj Dubai in Business Bay.
Six products from the state were displayed at the exhibition:
- Betul’s bell metal craft
- Chanderi sarees from Ashoknagar
- Maheshwari sarees from Maheshwar in Khargone
- Batik prints from Ujjain
- Zari-zardozi work from Bhopal
- Gwalior carpets
The state government said the exhibition is intended to connect these traditional products with international buyers and provide artisans with access to global markets.
Talks With Indian Mission in UAE
During his meeting with Ambassador Deepak Mittal and Consul General E Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Yadav discussed investment opportunities and ways to strengthen economic engagement between Madhya Pradesh and the UAE.
The state delegation presented Madhya Pradesh’s industrial land availability, connectivity, logistics facilities, industrial infrastructure and investor-oriented policies
The Chief Minister also sought the Indian mission’s support in connecting Madhya Pradesh with UAE sovereign wealth funds, major corporate groups, business organisations and institutional investors.
He invited the Ambassador and Consul General to participate in the Global Investors Summit 2027.
Arab Parliament President Discusses Investment Opportunities
Yadav also met Arab Parliament President Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi during a special luncheon.
Discussions covered possible cooperation between Arab countries and Madhya Pradesh in areas including trade, investment, agriculture, tourism and education.
The Chief Minister highlighted investment opportunities in sectors such as:
- Renewable energy
- Pharmaceuticals
- Medical devices
- Textiles
- Logistics
- Advanced manufacturing
- Urban infrastructure
- Food processing
- Agricultural value chains
- Cold-chain infrastructure
Yadav also invited Al Yamahi and an Arab business delegation to visit Madhya Pradesh and participate in the Global Investors Summit 2027.

Invitations Extended to Parliamentary Leaders
According to the Madhya Pradesh government, Al Yamahi agreed to extend special invitations for the 2027 summit to parliamentary leaders and speakers from several countries in the Middle East and Africa.
The countries listed by the state government include Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the UAE and Yemen.
The government said the outreach is intended to strengthen opportunities for investment, trade, industry, infrastructure, innovation and economic cooperation.
Madhya Pradesh Presents Investment Pitch at AIM Congress
The first day concluded with Yadav attending the invitation-only ‘Tycoons Dinner’ at AIM Congress 2026, hosted by AIM Congress Chairman Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
The event brought together representatives of sovereign wealth funds, family offices, institutional investors, financial institutions, global companies and policymakers.
The Chief Minister used the networking event to present Madhya Pradesh’s investment policies, industrial infrastructure, logistics capabilities and the state’s plans for the Global Investors Summit 2027.
The state government said discussions with international investors and policymakers covered opportunities in manufacturing, food processing, renewable energy, logistics, urban infrastructure, technology and export-oriented industries.
Focus on Long-Term Investment Partnerships
Speaking to the global media, Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s single-window system, faster approval mechanisms, industrial policies and geographical location as factors supporting investment in the state.
He said the government’s objective was not limited to attracting investment but also to establish a reliable platform for long-term partnerships with investors.
The Dubai visit will continue with further engagements at AIM Congress 2026, where the Madhya Pradesh delegation is presenting the state’s investment opportunities and development priorities to the international business community.
