Tamil Nadu: IAS P Amudha & 4 Other 1994-batch IAS Officers Have Been Promoted to CS Grade

The Tamil Nadu government has today promoted five IAS officers from the 1994 batch to the Chief Secretary grade. This move follows the temporary sanction for the creation of Additional Chief Secretary rank posts.

The names and current assignments of the promoted officers are as follows:

1. Ms. P. Amudha: Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Chennai.
2. Dr. Atul Anand: Additional Chief Secretary, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Department.
3. Mr. Sudeep Jain: On central deputation as Additional Secretary to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
4. Ms. Kakarla Usha: Additional Chief Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department.
5. Ms. Selvi Apoorva: Agriculture Production Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture-Farmers Welfare Department.

This elevation reflects the state government’s recognition of their contributions and expertise in various administrative capacities.
