Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved administrative and financial sanctions exceeding ₹306 crore for road infrastructure, tourism, flood protection, religious-site development and public facilities across the state.
The approvals include ₹288.41 crore for nine road projects sanctioned under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF). The Chief Minister has also approved the release of ₹115.36 crore as the first instalment, representing 40% of the sanctioned amount.
₹288.41 Crore for Nine CRIF Road Projects
Under CRIF, nine road works approved by the Government of India have received administrative and financial sanction of ₹288.41 crore.

The first instalment of ₹115.36 crore has been approved for release.
₹6 Crore for Badrinath Riverfront
An amount of ₹6 crore has been sanctioned under the tourism infrastructure head during the current financial year for the Badrinath Dham riverfront development project.
The allocation is part of the revised cost of the riverfront development work.
Six Flood Protection Works Get ₹9.30 Crore
Six schemes across Pithoragarh, Chamoli, Dehradun, Uttarkashi and Pauri Garhwal have received ₹9.30 crore for flood protection, reconstruction of damaged assets and related protective works during the monsoon period.
Temple Beautification and Road Work Approved
The government has also approved funding for religious-site development and a local road project.
- Bhaunadevi Temple, Salt, Almora: ₹50 lakh for beautification.
- Ghatika Temple, Chalnichhina, Jageshwar: ₹99.39 lakh for beautification.
- Kunia Gram Sabha, Didihat, Pithoragarh: ₹72.63 lakh for construction of a concrete road from Tapri Ghat to Golmanu Primary School.
Lift at Haldwani Labour Building
A financial and administrative sanction of ₹30.30 lakh has been approved for construction and installation of a lift at the Labour Building complex in Haldwani.
The approvals cover multiple departments and types of works, including roads, tourism infrastructure, flood protection, religious-site development and public facilities.
