He stressed that children must remain connected to their cultural roots while gaining expertise in science, mathematics, computers, and vocational skills.

Alignment with NEP 2020 and Digital Education Push

CM Dhami said the reforms are in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which focuses on:

  • Skill development
  • Innovation and research
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Employment-oriented learning

The state government is also promoting:

  • Smart classrooms
  • Digital education
  • Skill development programs
  • Startup ecosystem growth

He added that the new authority will play a key role in implementing NEP effectively and ensuring transparency and quality in education.

Education for Nation-Building and Social Empowerment

The Chief Minister said education is not just a means of employment but a powerful tool for social empowerment and nation-building. He urged educational institutions to produce responsible, skilled, and patriotic citizens.

He also highlighted India’s diversity, saying unity in diversity remains the country’s greatest strength, and the government is committed to inclusive development.

Vision for Uttarakhand’s Education Future
