Traditional Hill Architecture to Preserve Cultural Identity

A key highlight of the project is its architectural design. The buildings will be constructed using traditional hill architecture, reflecting Uttarakhand’s cultural and regional identity.

The initiative also aims to blend modern infrastructure with local design traditions, promoting the use of indigenous materials and supporting local artisans.

Governor Gurmit Singh on Efficiency and Public Service

He emphasized that the integrated campus will benefit both government employees and citizens by reducing delays, saving time, and improving accessibility to public services. The Governor also highlighted the importance of combining modern technology with cultural heritage in public infrastructure.

Chief Minister Dhami Highlights Good Governance Push

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami described the project as a significant step toward strengthening good governance and improving service delivery in the state. He noted that housing multiple departments within a single campus will enhance coordination between government offices and allow citizens to access faster and more efficient services.

Expected Benefits of the Lok Bhawan Development

The multi-purpose infrastructure is expected to deliver several long-term benefits, including:

  • Improved administrative coordination among departments
  • Faster and more efficient public service delivery
  • Reduced time and resource consumption
  • Better accessibility to healthcare and government services
  • Promotion of Uttarakhand’s traditional architectural identity

The Lok Bhawan campus development reflects a broader push toward integrated governance and citizen-friendly infrastructure in Uttarakhand.
