Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Police Headquarters has issued orders for the new posting of 14 police officers across various districts and police units in the state. The latest reshuffle includes one Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), 10 directly recruited Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), and three DSPs who have been posted after promotion.
The new assignments have been made across several districts and police units, including Haridwar, Bageshwar, Pauri, Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital, Tehri, Dehradun, Pithoragarh and Rudraprayag.
IPS Officer Dev Vrat Joshi Posted as ASP in Haridwar
IPS officer Dev Vrat Joshi has been posted to Haridwar as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) under the latest orders issued by Uttarakhand Police Headquarters.
The posting is part of the broader administrative changes aimed at assigning officers to different districts and police units.
Three DSPs Posted After Promotion
Three Deputy Superintendents of Police have been given new postings following their promotion.
The officers and their new assignments are:
- Rajesh Sah – Bageshwar
- Pradeep Pant – 40th Battalion PAC, Haridwar
- Nadeem Athar – IRB-II, Dehradun
The postings assign the promoted officers to district police and specialised police units.
10 Direct-Recruitment DSPs Get District Postings
Following completion of their training, 10 directly recruited Deputy Superintendents of Police have also been posted to different districts across Uttarakhand.
Their new postings are as follows:

- Ankit Thapliyal – Udham Singh Nagar
- Lav Sharma – Nainital

- Avni Tiwari – Rudraprayag
- Vinay Singh – Nainital
The postings cover several important districts, with three of the 10 directly recruited DSPs assigned to Nainital.
