Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to ensure the swift and fair resolution of land-related disputes by forming special dedicated teams. He emphasized that rightful ownership must remain with the actual landowner and warned that illegal encroachers must face strict legal action.
The Chief Minister made it clear that no injustice will be tolerated and the government remains committed to ensuring justice and prosperity for every citizen.
‘No tolerance for illegal land occupation’: CM Yogi
During the Janta Darshan held at Gorakhnath Temple, CM Yogi instructed officials to take strong action against land grabbers. He said that if powerful individuals have illegally occupied land, it must be immediately freed and the guilty must be dealt with under the law.
He reiterated that illegal occupation of land will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
CM interacts with around 200 complainants at Gorakhnath Temple
CM Yogi personally met approximately 200 people during the Janta Darshan at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Auditorium premises. Sitting among the public, he listened to grievances one by one and assured prompt resolution.
He directed officials to ensure quick and satisfactory disposal of all applications, stressing that the government stands firmly with every aggrieved citizen.
Special focus on land dispute cases
The Chief Minister specifically instructed that:
- Special teams must be formed for land dispute resolution
- Cases should be disposed of quickly and transparently
- Encroached land must be freed immediately
- Legal action must be taken against offenders
He emphasized that land ownership must remain with the rightful owner without delay.

During the public hearing, several individuals requested financial assistance for medical treatment. CM Yogi assured them that the government would provide full support for healthcare expenses.
He directed officials to:
- Expedite preparation of medical estimates
- Send proposals to the government without delay
- Ensure timely assistance to patients in need
Transparent handling of police-related grievances
The Chief Minister also reviewed police-related complaints and instructed officials to ensure:
- Transparent and impartial investigation
- Sensitivity towards complainants
- Immediate action against injustice
He stressed that no citizen should face unfair treatment and all grievances must be handled with empathy.
