Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 423 development projects worth over ₹951 crore in Muzaffarnagar. The mega initiative aims to accelerate infrastructure growth, improve civic facilities, and boost employment opportunities in the region.
Major Development Boost for Muzaffarnagar
Addressing a public event in the holy land of Maharshi Shukdev, CM Yogi described the initiative as a key step toward strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s development model. He said the government is committed to ensuring that welfare schemes and infrastructure projects reach every citizen directly.
During the event, the Chief Minister also:
- Inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 423 projects
- Launched multiple public welfare schemes
- Emphasized rapid development across all districts

Infrastructure Projects to Transform Connectivity
Several key infrastructure works were either inaugurated or launched, including:
- Widening and strengthening of Behat Sadat–Meerut-Pauri road
- Improvement of Mansoorpur–Shahpur road
- Construction of two-lane rail overbridge at Khatauli Railway Station
- Road widening projects including Chhappar–Rohana–Charthawal and Khatauli–Meerapur routes
- Drain construction and civic infrastructure upgrades
These projects are expected to significantly improve road connectivity and reduce travel time in the region.
Education, Culture and Public Facilities Upgraded
Among other major announcements:
- A 800-capacity auditorium at a government inter college
- Light and sound show at Shukratal pilgrimage site
- Drinking water restructuring scheme for Nagar Panchayat Charthawal
The initiatives aim to strengthen educational and cultural infrastructure while improving basic amenities.
Focus on Employment, Skill Development and Youth
CM Yogi also highlighted initiatives aimed at boosting employment and skill development:
- Release of ‘Kaushal Darshan’ booklet under Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission
- Launch of AI Sentiment and Readiness Report on AI universities
- MoU between NITI Aayog and NSDC to promote women entrepreneurship
He stressed that technology-driven education and innovation will increase job opportunities for youth.
Youth Empowerment and Startup Growth in Uttar Pradesh
Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary also participated in the event and appreciated the state’s progress. He noted that Uttar Pradesh has seen a massive rise in entrepreneurship:
- From 150 startups in 2014 to over 2 lakh registered startups today
- Increasing participation of youth in innovation and global platforms
He praised the state government for expanding opportunities beyond traditional government jobs.

CM Yogi Adityanath said the “double-engine government” under Prime Minister Narendra Modi is focused on delivering governance, security, and development.
He also emphasized:
