Popular YouTuber and podcast host, Ranveer Allahbadia, known for his channel BeerBiceps, revealed a terrifying near-drowning incident in Goa on Christmas Day. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Ranveer shared the details of how he and his girlfriend were rescued from a dangerous underwater current while swimming in the open sea.

Ranveer explained that he and his girlfriend had been enjoying a swim in the ocean when they were unexpectedly swept away by a strong underwater current. Despite his years of experience swimming in the sea, Ranveer found himself struggling to stay afloat. He recounted the frightening ordeal, saying he struggled for five to 10 minutes, starting to lose consciousness, before he was able to call for help.

“We’re perfectly fine and well now,” Ranveer assured his followers in the post. “But yesterday at around 6:00 pm, my girlfriend and I had to be rescued from a bit of a situation.”

As the couple fought to stay afloat, a nearby family noticed their distress. Among them were an IPS officer and his wife, an IRS officer, who immediately jumped into action and rescued the couple from the dangerous current.

“That moment during the ordeal when I swallowed a lot of water and began fading away is something I’ll never forget,” Ranveer said. “I shouted for help, and thankfully, this family came to our rescue just in time.”

Ranveer expressed deep gratitude for the timely intervention of the rescuers, crediting the IPS officer and his wife for saving both him and his girlfriend.

“Deep gratitude to the family of the IPS officer husband and IRS officer wife who saved us both,” he added.

This harrowing experience serves as a reminder of the unpredictable dangers of swimming in the open sea, and Ranveer’s followers have shown an outpouring of support and relief following the news of his safe recovery.
