In a heartwarming gesture, Dr. Rakesh Singh (2003 batch IPS), the Inspector General (IG) of Bareilly Range, handed away a merit certificate to a female constable of Bhojipura, Ms. Ameeran Bano, for securing second position (Silver Medal) in the 44th National Masters Athletic Championship 2024 held in Pune, Maharashtra.
IG Rakesh Singh later took to X, sharing pictures with Ms. Baano and captioning how she brought glory to the police department and the people of Bareilly.
