Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav launched the book “India se Bharat: Ek Pravas” in Bhopal at a programme held in Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium.
The book presents a conceptual journey of Indian identity, self-respect, and national consciousness. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including senior intellectuals and public representatives.
Focus on India’s Identity and Cultural Narrative
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken several historic steps to strengthen India’s transformation into a more confident and culturally rooted nation.
He referred to major developments such as the Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya, restoration of respect for “Vande Mataram,” and India’s global response during the COVID-19 pandemic as milestones in nation-building.
Book Reflects National Consciousness and Historical Journey
The book explores themes of Indian civilization, cultural pride, and the shift from colonial influence to a self-reliant nation.
It is written by Prashant Pol and includes a foreword by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, adding ideological and cultural perspectives to the work.

The event was attended by Hemant Sharma, who said that it is time to move from the idea of “India” to “Bharat,” describing India as an external identity and Bharat as an internal cultural and spiritual continuum.
He said that cultural revival is essential beyond literary efforts and called for stronger action toward civilizational awakening.
Ram Mandir Verdict and National Unity Highlighted
CM Yadav emphasized that the Supreme Court’s decision on the Ram Mandir reflected India’s democratic strength and unity. He noted that even those who opposed the case were present during the celebrations in Ayodhya, symbolizing harmony and inclusiveness in Indian society.
Author Describes India’s Historical Strength
Author Prashant Pol said the book consists of 11 chapters and highlights that India was never weak or dependent. He traced historical and political developments from independence to modern times, emphasizing India’s transformation over the decades.
Intellectual and Academic Participation
The programme also featured discussions by scholars and intellectuals on India’s cultural revival and ideological transformation. Additional research publications on governance and youth perspectives were presented to the Chief Minister, focusing on transparency, policy development, and youth engagement.
The event saw participation from various cultural organizations, research bodies, and academic institutions, reflecting growing interest in India’s civilizational discourse and intellectual revival.
