Kolkata: REC Limited has taken another step towards promoting digital education and inclusive learning by launching a CSR initiative to establish 20 Smart Classrooms in government schools of Alipurduar district, West Bengal.
Through this project, REC Limited aims to bridge the digital divide and provide students in rural and tribal areas with access to technology-enabled learning facilities.
The company has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Career Forum for the implementation of the CSR project titled “Establishment of 20 Smart Classrooms in Government Schools of Alipurduar, West Bengal.”

The MoA was signed on July 14, 2026, by:

Over 1,500 Students to Benefit from Smart Classrooms
The project will establish 20 technology-enabled Smart Classrooms in government schools across Alipurduar district.
