The government of India has appointed eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to the post of Joint Secretary. The officers who are have been posted are mentioned below:

  • Ashish Vachhani IAS (Tamil Nadu 1997) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Economic Affairs
  • Sumant Singh IAS (Manipur 2003) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Home Affairs
  • Sonmoni Borah IAS (Chhattisgarh 1999) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Land Resources
  • Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra IAS (Odisha 1997) appointed as Secretary-cum-Controller of Examination- National Recruitment Agency (NRA) under the Department of Personnel & Training
  • D Senthil Pandiyan IAS (Uttarakhand 2002) appointed as Joint Secretary- Ministry of AYUSH
  • Sandhya Bhullar IAS (Gujarat 2003) appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Economic Affairs
  • Bhuvnesh Kumar IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1995) appointed as Joint Secretary- Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology
  • Patibandla Ashok Babu IAS (Assam-Meghalaya 2003) is now appointed as Joint Secretary- Department of Health & Family Welfare.
