Hyderabad: In a significant administrative reshuffle, Ram Prakash Sisodia, a senior IAS officer of the 1991 batch and Special Chief Secretary to Government (Land, Registration and Stamps), has been transferred to a new role as Special Chief Secretary to Government, Handloom and Textiles, I&C Department.
As part of the transfer, Sisodia was relieved of his full additional charge of the post of Director General of the Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development Institute (APHRDI). The transfer has sparked some debate among bureaucrats, particularly those in the Secretariat, as Mr. Sisodia had been instrumental in implementing land reforms following the formation of the NDA government.
Meanwhile, G. Jaya Lakshmi, a 1995 batch IAS officer and currently the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration & Special Chief Secretary, has been placed in full additional charge of the post of Special Chief Secretary to Government (Land, Registration and Stamps), Revenue Department until further orders.
In another significant move, Bhaskar Katamneni, a 2004 batch IAS officer and Secretary to Government of the ITE & C Department, has been assigned full additional charge of the post of Director General, APHRDI until further orders.
Additionally, several officers who were awaiting posting have received new assignments:
- Mutyalaraju Revu is now posted as Commissioner, State Institute of Rural Development, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, relieving B. Mohammed Diwan Mydeen from full additional charge.
- K. Madhavi Latha is posted as CEO, AP Rythu Bazar, relieving M. Vijaya Suneetha from additional charge.
- M. Gauthami is placed at the disposal of the Tribal Welfare Department to be posted as Secretary, AP Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institution Society (Gurukulam).
- Kothamasu Dinesh Kumar is now the Director of Ayush, relieving Dr. Manjula D Hosmani from full additional charge.
- Dr. K. Neelakanta Reddy has been placed at the disposal of the Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department to take up the post of Managing Director, APSACS, relieving Dr. A. Siri from full additional charge.
Sources from the Secretariat have indicated that further transfers of IAS and IPS officers are being considered and are expected to take place in the coming days.
