New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has empanelled 64 officers of the 1993 batch of the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) for promotion to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT) in Level 16 of the Pay Matrix.
The empanelment covers the panel year 2025 (Review) and 2026 (Regular Panel). However, Anurag Goyal has been excluded from the empanelment list.
Out of the 64 officers, eight names have been placed in the extended panel, which will be operated in case officers in the main panel are unavailable due to retirement or deputation during the vacancy year 2026.
