Delhi Receives Maximum Officers
A notable feature of the reshuffle is the significant number of officers transferred to Delhi, while Jammu & Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, Ladakh, Puducherry, and Lakshadweep also witnessed substantial movement of officers.
The transfers span senior and mid-career officers from the 1999 to 2023 batches, reflecting the Centre’s effort to rebalance administrative and policing manpower across the AGMUT cadre.
The transfer orders have come into effect immediately and will remain valid until further orders issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
