Rewa (MP): In a significant administrative reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh, 2019-batch IAS officer Akshat Jain has been appointed as the new Municipal Commissioner of Rewa.
The appointment comes following a major bureaucratic overhaul carried out by the state government earlier this month, aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency across districts.

The position of Municipal Commissioner in Rewa had remained vacant after Sonawane’s transfer. Jain’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to bring fresh energy and administrative expertise to the urban governance system in the city.
